Union: Definition:

an act or instance of uniting or joining two or more things into one. especially : the formation of a single political unit from two or more separate and individual units:  something that is made one : something formed by a combining or coalition of its members:

John 17: 20

I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me, I have given to them, tthat they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

“UNION.”Health is Holistic not just physical well-being.  When I come to the quietness of the moments of meditation, worship, contemplating my day and what went on, I must evaluate my fears, which involves moments of a relinquishment of giving up something of myself in order to “survive” in a dog-eat-dog world.  If I have not let my voice be heard in any confrontational situation, I find there is loss. I might not need to say a word, but it is just an attitude of knowing that I have a good boundary and it is mine and I “choose” at that moment, to remain silent.  This is still my “voice.”   If I let myself be overcome by a loss or a fear, then comes a loss of self-respect, a loss of union with my Creator and a loss of peace and quietness within.  Eventually, this can cause many imbalances within the body and if not dealt with will eventually cause great harm within the metabolism and functions of each organ and the way our body responds to everything around us. For example:  Our digestion, especially our digestion, we find that our “brain” is really in our gut biome…..which  becomes compromised and we find ourselves losing ground, not feeling quite ourselves, adrenals and thyroid (the whole endocrine system is involved, especially the spleen)  Our body will stop assimilating the necessary nutrients that are vital for optimal health.  If this goes on long enough, our body will begin to break down in several different areas. It doesn’t happen all at once, which can eventually hit us all at once, unfortunately.

The organs that relate to digestions and detoxification are the liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph, colon, and skin, if this process does not continue to work properly day to day, the toxins will back up in our system and cause inflammation and illness. Unfortunately, the foods that we eat in America cause great harm to these systems….such as High Fructose Corn syrup, food additives, canned foods that have little or no food value,  dyes, nitrates, nitrates, Ultra-pasteurized dairy that is devoid of enzymes, processed foods, the list is endless.

Growing up in a family who ate canned veggies and mac and cheese, and hardly any green vegetables, I started on my health journey many years ago when my children were very young. I vowed my children would know what broccoli and cauliflower was. After reading about determental results of eating refined sugar and high fructose suger, I decided I would make my own ketchup, and mayo, among other things.  I even ground the peanut butter at the store adding my own oils if it might be too thick and unspreadable, butter on the sandwich worked great.  Remarrying after my husband died proved to be an interruption to my goals as my X would come home with Peter Pan after he had cut out the word “sugar” on the back of the label.  He thought it was funny, but my children picked up on that immediately and decided mom was weird.  After all, none of the other kids ate like we did.  Sugar was poison, but I wasn’t prepared to have to fight for my children’s health during those years.  I succumbed to the authority at large.

The dictionary gives broad definition for “poison”: “to exert a harmful influence on, or to pervert”.  So, cane sugar without the cane is essentially poison.

I had read the book called “Sugar Blues,” by William Duffy.   Someone else has already done the work posting a lot of the important contents already, if interested. Powerful information for change  https://www.quantumbalancing.com/news/sugar_blues.htm

Hey, I was hoping to be super mom! I didn’t make it, of course. 🙂  I made fresh curry shrimp stir fry, Chicken a-la King, (kids loved that one) on home made bread and fresh salads, but much to my chagrin, when my daughter visited the friend next door, getting frozen pizza as an after school treat, I was almost hurt when she was all excited about eating frozen pizza and ice cream. What a treat!  You mean my homemade pizzas were not good enough, huh?  Sigh!  Try as I might, it seemed the system was against my goal to control the poison entering my children’s mouths and our home.

I had what I thought was a wonderful, healthy garden with fresh corn on the cob, tomatoes, peppers, melons, cucumbers, lettuces.  I was amazed how easy gardening was in Indiana. I was from Texas and it was not easy keeping things fertilized and watered.  This was a cinch!  I conjured up zucchini boats filled with fresh tomato sauce and italian seasonings with a bit of hamburger mixed within covered with parmesan cheese. I made fresh chimichanga with fresh peppers from the garden.  After falling in bed once things were cleaned up, I heard, “you smell like Mexican food.”  Slaving over a hot stove with chili pepper steam rising into your hair, what do you expect.  I hadn’t noticed.  Suzie homemaker I wasn’t, I knew I had tried my best. That’s all God expected from me.

However, time tells the real story., That child who thought frozen pizza was amazing, now makes all her food from scratch and it’s all organic.  She is way over the top making sure her kids get the best. she was more discerning than I, her best friend and support system. Kudos, Sweetheart!  I am grateful for all my hard work paid off in some households, anyway.  After I told her she and her brothers had become amazing,  responsible, caring adults in spite of me, the tears came when she said, We are the way we are, mom, because of you.” What mother wouldn’t like to hear those words when she knows she really screwed up in so many ways?  God is good and works in many ways I was blind to and could not see….in spite of me.  Great and marvelous are  your works O Lord!

What is your goal? To live life to its fullest till it’s your time to leave this earth, or to be broken down with arthritis, kidney disease, diabetes, knee trouble and back issues and number of different auto-immune diseases, mostly caused by parasites, etc. Do you have a goal? I’m finding my voice here in my 60’s finally.  In the past, I’ve let another take my voice and not stood for the things I knew to be upright and faithful, my faith was used against me, as I learned in retrospect.  Don’t be guilty of what I’ve done. If you lose your voice, you lose your health.  I’m working my way back to my healthy self…..in this order: spirit, soul, mind, body.  It doesn’t work the other way, just doesn’t. I lost my voice back then, and found it played havoc on my adrenals, and endocrine system, and caused a lot of fog brain.

Health starts with a correct mindset, it’s not just food or supplements, exercise, a special diet or the right support system, etc., of course all these help, but the picture has to be one of a lifestyle, not a few healthy things here and there.  I’m almost 68 and take no medication and ride my bike and run miles out in the country.  (Well, once the weather calms back down and wams up.)  I am blessed!  A sugarless life has great benefits.

I make green leaf smoothies every morning with celery and cucumber with powdered greens adding parsley, watercress, moringa, acai berry, mangosteen, camu-camu, aronia berry, calcium citrate, kale, spinach,

If you discover you have lost your health and realize it might just be because you lost your voice…..your ability to stand in the midst of adversity and speak your mind…..shoot me an email. I’ve talked to many a soul who are ill because they didn’t’ know who they were, like me.  Maybe I have an idea or two that might start you in the direction you are looking for. If not, maybe I know someone else who might be just the right person for your situation.

Blessings to all. I really appreciate you taking the time to read this far. We need each other.
